A Visit to the Cadillac Ranch

A visit to the Cadillac Ranch in Texas is a must when travelling Route 66. It’s really something to see. The Cadillacs being buried with their trunks sticking out of the ground is quite a marvel. The cars are in the middle of a field that you need to do a little bit of a walk to get to. One of the most striking things to see are the colors. Every one of the Cadillacs is completely spray-painted and every color imaginable is used. The great thing about this is that the colors are always changing so you will never see the same graffiti from visit to visit. Some people only write their name along with the date they were there. Others take the graffiti seriously and the art they make is breathtaking.

If you ever get the chance to follow Route 66, be sure to plan a stop at the Cadillac Ranch.
