Movement of traffic. I’m not exactly sure what made me want to photograph the lights and movement while in the rain and heavy traffic but I’m glad I did. The twilight blue of the sky, the reflections in the pavement and the electric chaos of the lights draw me in. The colors and motion of the lights give this image an energy of adventure that invites you on a journey.

This movement of traffic it taken with a Ricoh GRII. This camera is a pocket-sized wonder and travels with me almost everywhere I go. It is so easy to use as a street photography camera. It’s inconspicuous. It offers so many different settings from manual to auto, black and white to color. I’m so glad my mentor turned me on to this surprising little powerhouse of a street camera.
