A wise man that I am glad to call friend, Parker J Pfister, recently said the secrete spice for a long career in the arts is: "Play. Don't work." I couldn't agree more. 

We need to play. Play at being creative. Play with light. Play with shadow. Play with the rules. Play with brushes, paints, cameras or anything else that helps you to create. When you play there are no mistakes, there is only play. A masterpiece may be made with play. Maybe not. It doesn't matter. The act of playing is a learning experience and that is a total win. So, play and learn. Say yes to fun. Once you say yes most everything becomes more play and less work. 

Strive for less work. Strive for more play!
