Wednesday Walks

Wednesday morning photo walks are becoming a thing for me since the weather has finally turned decent. I was out at Battel park which is part of the Mishawaka riverwalk carrying my camera when I walked by two women out exercising their dogs, they looked to be mother and daughter (the women, not the dogs) when the mother looked at me, smiled and said, “Well looky here there’s a biker that likes to take pictures.” I rode the bike that morning and was wearing my leather vest, carrying my camera (the Canon R converted with a black and white infrared sensor) and sporting a Harley shirt. I suppose that is an unusual sight. I don’t think I’ve had the pleasure of meeting another professional photographer that is also a motorcycle rider. As I thought about it more I liked that idea that it makes me a little more unique than the average photographer or motorcycle rider.

It's funny how just a few words can make or break your day. Her words made my day. That may sound silly, but we all need a little uniqueness in our lives and I’m glad I decided to stop at Battel park for my Wednesday walk.

As to it being a photo walk, I did take a few images that caught my eye. Hope you enjoy the Spider and Flower that I happened to catch along the way.
