When I look at the piece of art “Water meets Sky” I find that it is very calming. I’m drawn to water. When I’m around water I feel complete. There is something in my makeup that needs to be near water and when I’m out searching for something to photograph I usually end up on the shore of Lake Michigan or on the banks of a river or beside a pond watching the ducks swim by. I may not start out with the idea of going to the water but it seems no matter what direction I choose to go I end up being next to it.

Now that spring is here I hope to get back out so I can create more art. I’m looking forward to being out in the warmer weather again. The winter months are hard on my creativity, it puts me into a gray mood to match the endless days of gray that seem to last forever.
