There's something about seeing the yellow petals of a flower on the deep blue of the sky that makes me smile. The colors are so inviting and there is the feeling of strength that the flower gives off as it's stem stands straight into the air. Colors are so important. They paint the way for us as we go through the day. The guide us, stop us, warn us and live with us. Its such a wonderful thing to have with us. We are enriched by the colors that paint our lives. Colors are one of the things I look for when I'm out and about with my camera. Oddly enough though, I generally prefer black and white and most of the time I will convert my images into something monochrome. Still it is the color that draws me to a subject to begin with.
